SAM stands for Structural Aluminium Malleable. The SAM® Splint is lightweight, flexible, highly versatile and compact and is the gold standard in splinting and immobilisation. Used around the globe by anyone from military medics to volunteer first aiders. There isn't much that can't be achieved with a SAM Splint. From a simple arm splint to an improvised cervical collar this lightweight, rugged, reusable device should be in every first aid kit. SAM Splint consists of a layer of 0.41mm strips of soft aluminium, with a polyethylene closed-cell foam coating.

SAM Splint requires only wrap or tape to provide the necessary strength to support any fractured or injured limb or stabilise a joint. The exterior can be cleaned and disinfected with bleach and water for reuse. It is weather-resistant designed to function across the globe in a myriad of temperatures and conditions.
